Flatworms are intersexed invertebrates.
Their mating ritual, often referred to as "penis fencing" is a "duel" in which each tries to impregnate the other. This dance can last up to 1 hour.
An elegantly bound black book with a silver silhouette light-bolt across its cover, opens to sea-foam green pages, showing images by Laurie Kang. Dive into the invertebrate flatworm's one hour long mating game under the sea or in leaf litter, printed in purple close-ups. Followed by a dialogue between two flatworms in rhyme, the text was written by Tiziana La Melia.
