Critical Distance is a not-for-profit gallery, publisher, and professional network devoted to advancing critical curatorial practice and inquiry in Toronto and beyond. Each year we produce exhibitions, publications, and educational events in collaboration with guest curators and artists at all levels of professional development.
As a not-for-profit, we rely on financial support from public and private funders including individuals who are inspired by the potential for art, curating, and exhibitions to enhance our collective quality of life. All donations go toward our programming and operations, through which we hold space for curators, artists, partners, and audiences alike to come together across cultures, generations, and geographies.
Any amount is greatly appreciated — no donation is too large or too small.
While we don't yet have charitable status and are thus unable to provide tax letters for donations, we are working on a selection of perks and will be in touch with all donors to update on options.
