Puppies Puppies (Jade Guanaro Kuriki-Olivo) is a conceptual, performance and installation artist. Her work often draws on the emotional resonance of found objects and shared experiences, exploring love, mortality, power relations, and states of being. When Puppies Puppies first began exhibiting work, she did so anonymously, offering no additional biographical information. After coming out as a trans woman in 2018, the artist began working under her name, now Jade Guanaro Kuriki-Olivo. This volume acts as a defining resource on Jade’s expansive practice,compiling exhibitions, performances and texts through a decade of artistic and personal changes.
